Pro Mix

Our Pro Mix® line of products includes over 150 dairy and non-dairy based ingredients for use in a wide range of applications.  In many applications, traditional dairy commodities like nonfat dry milk, dried buttermilk and dried whole milk are naturally over-engineered for the applications in which they are being used.  Our Pro Mix® product line incorporates only the nutrients and functional attributes essential to your application so you can save money, without sacrificing quality.

Many of our Pro Mix® products have been formulated for specific applications.  We are by no means limited to any specific ingredient, or finished product.  We produce a wide range of dried, co-dried, and dry-blended products.  It would be our pleasure to develop a product for you that would meets your functionality, nutritional and cost objectives.

 

WHY SHOULD I BUY DRY INGREDIENTS?
Drying is man’s oldest preservation method.  Drying reduces moisture content and lowers water activity (bacteria growth) in perishable products, there by prolonging shelf life and adding value. Compared to products produced with other preservation methods, dehydrated products have almost unlimited shelf life and substantially lower transportation, handling, and storage costs.  In the United States, they provide opportunities for maximum convenience, flexibility and economics as industrial and food service ingredients, whereas in other countries they are also frequently consumer products, as well.

 

DO YOU DO CUSTOMIZED PROCESSING AND PACKAGING?

Yes.  We offer customized processing and packaging services and our capabilities include the processing of dried and co-dried products that often incorporate liquids such as colors, fats and oils.  Our customers are assured of the highest level of confidentiality with regard to proprietary formulations and processing procedures.  Contact us for custom processing of your ingredients.

DO YOU ONLY PROCESS DRY INGREDIENTS?
We process a wide range of dried and co-dried ingredients.  Our processing regularly incorporates liquids.  We have a wide range of experience processing liquid ingredients such as oils, flavors and colors.  These processing capabilities often decrease the processing steps for the user and therefore increase productivity.

 

DO YOU OFFER AGGLOMERATED INGREDIENTS?
We often process products that offer agglomerated properties when this adds value to the user.  Don’t hesitate to talk with our technical staff if your systems require agglomerated properties.

 

 WHAT ARE YOUR PACKAGING CAPABILITIES?

We currently package hundreds of products in sizes ranging from 10 pound to 2,500 pound bulk units.  Our packaging versatility offers non-standard sized packages that often eliminate the need for partial weigh-ups at the point of usage and this service typically minimizes handling which can consistently provide major cost savings.

 

Packaging Capabilities Include:  Multiwall PBOM Heat Sealed Bags of most sizes, Bulk Units, Drums and Boxes
